Teeth Cleaning

Prevention is better than cure with teeth. 

Regular care and cleaning of your dog’s teeth will help prevent tooth decay and its associated complication and expensive and risky treatments.  

Using the Emmi-Pet tooth brush with its specifically designed toothpaste plaque and bacteria are removed very gently.  With the majority of dogs tolerating this experience if introduced before they have tooth decay and sensitivity in their mouths.  

Due to the brush using ultrasonic technology there is no movement or sound and the cleaning is achieved from the toothbrush activating the toothpaste.  I highly recommend starting your dog’s tooth care journey as young as possible so it becomes a normal part of their life. 

Consultation 

This service needs to be completed following an initial visit to assess the suitability for your dog.  This will take into consideration their willingness to allow their teeth to be safely cleaned.  The health of their teeth and if they need to have a descaling treatment with their veterinarian prior to tooth maintenance work commencing. 

Pricing 

First session £40 this includes a personal toothbrush head which will be used for each tooth session. 

The initial teeth cleaning session may take a bit longer, as this session focuses on thoroughly removing plaque buildup.  

Maintenance Clean

Following the initial cleaning, maintenance teeth cleaning is available. 

£15 as an add on to a groom or £20 as a standalone service. 

It is recommended that maintenance cleans are completed at a minimum interval of 6-8 weeks.  If the gap is further this will not be considered a maintenance clean and will be charged as a first session due to the build up of plaque.
